Welcome to March (and hopefully some warmer weather)

We enjoyed a short, but busy, week here at Riverside. We discussed what details are important when summarizing a story, took our Unit 7 Math test on multiplication and division, and finished up our Book Talk Voicethread projects. (Those can be heard here)

A few students were able to use some free time to make it down to the library to make note of something that happened this week:

Jonah screamed, “We went snow shoeing in gym and it was so fun!”
Ella screeched, “We watched a movie for Dr. Seuss day called 'Daisy Head Mayzie'! I loved it!”
Genna yelled “We learned a new song in Music.”
Amelia exclaimed, “I found a box top on a Kleenex box!”
Courtney exclaimed, “We had our MATH test on Feb 26, 2013!!”

Dates to remember in March:
March 1st: No school
March 8th: Science Fair
March 14th: Field Trip to the Grand
March 25-29th: No school, Spring Break!
