I don't know about you, but I had a WONDERFUL day today!
We got an email from Mrs. Dembowski, our librarian, letting our class know that we did a great job using quiet voices in the library while checking out books yesterday! Way to go third graders!
We practiced our spelling words by playing a game of "Sparkle". Our first test is this Friday, so please practice every night!
The PTO will be collecting Box Tops for
Education again this year. The class with the most box tops collected each
month will receive a small prize. At the end of each quarter, the class with
the most box tops collected with win an ice cream sundae party. (Quarters will
be the end of November, February and May) Let's bring one of these partys to room 32!
I can tell we are getting a hang of our new school routines. Rarely do I have to remind students to take out a book and read quietly when they are waiting for everyone to finish up their task! I love observing this level of respect for our peers.
I couldn't have asked for a better homeroom class!
